Dundee Rep Theatre is located in the city centre. Any bus that stops in the city centre is approximately a ten-minute walk from Dundee Rep. There are several car parks near the theatre, including South Tay Street car park and Greenmarket car park, and there is on-street parking on South Tay Street. There are two disabled parking bays on South Tay Street close to the theatre. There are free bike storage facilities outside the theatre. Dundee Rep is approximately a ten-minute walk from Dundee Train Station. Please ensure you allow enough time for your journey to the theatre.

Getting to Dundee

By car

By car, Dundee is accessible from all over the UK. It’s less than a two-hour drive from Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, for example, and Manchester is around five hours from here. Longer journeys from London (8.5 hours) and Birmingham (6.25 hours) are relatively simple thanks to the UK’s motorway network. Dundee itself is on the A90 and A92, the latter of which will feed you into the city across the iconic Tay Bridge.

By bus

if you prefer to arrive by coach, you’ll be impressed with the number of services into Dundee from towns and cities right across the UK. The city’s Seagate Bus Station is located in the centre, within 15 minute walking distance of Dundee Rep.

By train

Dundee’s railway station is located close to the theatre, beside to the new waterfront regeneration and just yards from the banks of the river. There are direct services to and from Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, all of which are less than 90 minutes away. From London Kings Cross, the direct journey is around 6.5 hours.

By plane

The city’s international airport is located just 3km from the centre on the shore of the Firth of Tay. Direct flights are available from both Belfast and London City.
