Auditorium seating

Most of the seating in the auditorium is reached by stairs. There is a hand rail between rows D and G, and elsewhere there are handhold grips at the end of each row. The auditorium is entered at row D. There are 28 steps up to row P which is the back row of the auditorium. There are 3 steps down to row A. There is no lift access in the auditorium. Seats in the auditorium are approximately 40cm wide.   We have accessible seating inside the auditorium, seats D15-19 and D33-37 on the seating plan. These seats fold down (and can therefore be used by those who find steps difficult) or folded up to allow space for a wheelchair.

An organized display of Dundee Rep Theatre's seating structure, showcasing a stage at the bottom, and seats color-coded in red and black. Red seats denote band A seats and black seats denote band B seasts.

Pricing

Our prices may increase with demand. Our tickets will never be lower than they are currently so you’ll always get the best price if you book early.

We do not want the cost of tickets to be a barrier for audiences, so with TENNERTAIN we have a limited number of £10 tickets available for every Dundee Rep Ensemble and Scottish Dance Theatre production (Limited to 4 tickets per person). If you feel that the full price of a ticket is a barrier towards your enjoyment and would like to make use of one of our £10 tickets use promo code TENNERTAIN when checking out online or when booking via the box office.

Are you a student or know someone who is? Do you enjoy a night out at the theatre with a friend? Do you like getting two tickets for the price of one? Then check out Student Tuesdays at Dundee Rep!  Use code: STWODENT at checkout and bring your student ID on the night to enjoy two for one on tickets to selected productions.

Preview performances

‘Preview’ is a term often applied to the first performance or performances in a show’s run. They give the actors and the creatives delivering the show a moment to fully settle into the production, and make any tweaks that they would like to, ahead of the show’s more official ‘Opening’ on Press Night. Previews also give the audience a chance to see the performance before anyone else, and usually at a discounted rate.  Tickets for Dundee Rep and Scottish Dance Theatre previews are usually £15 (or £10 with TENNERTAIN).  Preview performances are labelled in the date and time list when booking.

Exchanges

Exchanges are only possible, when given at least 48 hours advance notice, for another performance within the same run of the same show.  Please be aware ticket exchanges may be more expensive than originals.

Refunds

Tickets are non-refundable and non-returnable except upon cancellation of the event.

Reservations

We can hold tickets without taking payment using a reservation.  A reservation means you can hold specific seats for an amount of time before confirming a booking and making payment. Reservations will be held for a maximum of 4 days, after which time they will be released. Alternative reservation policies are normally available for group bookings.

Group / school bookings

For group bookings, an 11th ticket is usually provided free for every 10 purchased for midweek performances. School bookings can be made directly though Box Office on 01382 223530 or boxoffice@dundeereptheatre.co.uk
