Alison Brown is a Costume Designer and Maker with over 25 years of experience working in theatre, on productions that have toured both nationally and internationally.

She has worked extensively with Companies such as Scottish Dance Theatre, Barrowland Ballet, Rob Heaslip, the Macrobert Arts Centre, the Royal Lyceum, Catherine Wheels, and Lung Ha Theatre Company. She also teaches Performance Costume at Edinburgh College of Art.

She studied Printed Textiles at Edinburgh College of Art, returning latterly as a Lecturer in Performance Costume. Pattern and texture continue to play an important part in her design process.
