Whilst with Scottish Dance Theatre, Molly was part of original creations with Emmanuel Gat and Brazilian Dance Collective and learned works by Sharon Eyal, Fleur Darkin, Anton Lachky, Colette Sadler and Botis Seva.
Since then, Molly has worked as a freelance dancer and maker in the UK and Europe. As a performer, Molly has worked with Barrowland Ballet, Rob Heaslip, Charlotte McLean, Curious Seed, Shotput and Scottish Opera, to name a few, alongside personal work and various cross-art collaborations such as with; sound and visual artist, Alliyah Enyo, Sculptor, Caroline Dear and drummer, Stuart Brown.
Molly is a member of Collective Endeavours, a Glasgow-based music and dance collective that performs improvised pieces and celebrates collective decision making.
During the pandemic, whilst planting trees and vegetables on their family’s croft on Skye, Mol danced in the agricultural shed, and shared some of the ‘shed dances’ online. An edited version was made for Scottish Dance Theatre’s Digital Buzz Festival in 2021.
Led by a love of nature and score making, Mol has created ‘moss scores’ (scores derived from ecology and patterns of mosses) and continues to explore different creative avenues with moss, so far leading to experiments with drag and performance lectures.
