Born in Israel, Meytal Blanaru is a Brussels based choreographer and dancer. Since creating her 1st solo Lilly in 2008, she develops a personal movement research that deeply alters the way she moves and perceives the body. 

Inspired by the Feldenkrais method, her curiosity to create a fusion between Feldenkrais and dance leads her to slowly build a movement technique which she calls FATHOM HIGH. She creates her second solo AURORA in 2011 (Aerowaves 2015), the trio WE WERE THE FUTURE in 2018 (French CDCN Coproduction award). In 2020, Meytal creates the solo Rain which receives very warm reviews and came as a personal manifesto around sexual violence. In 2021, she creates UNDIVIDED, a piece for 5 dancers (premiered in Les Brigittines, Brussels). And in 2022: Ray, a piece for 8 dancers, commissioned for the Scottish Dance Theatre… In 2023, Meytal gets invited to create a piece for the Icelandic Dance Company, with 14 dancers. At the end of 2023, she will create a new solo, Dark Horse
