Lauren Ellis-Steele is a Glasgow-based actor and vocalist whose work spans television, theatre, and musical theatre.
Her television credits include the BBC Ireland drama 6 Degrees (Series 1–3) and the BBC Three film The Crash. Lauren has performed widely across Scottish theatre, with appearances at Perth Theatre, Tron Theatre, and the National Theatre of Scotland. Recent roles include the title role in Snow Queen (Perth Theatre), Aladdin (Paisley Arts Centre), Ugly–A Cinderella Story and Robin Hood (Cumbernauld Lantern house). She has also featured in Tron Theatre favourites such as Cinderfella, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Mammy Goose, and Alice in Weegieland. Her work with the National Theatre includes Peter Gynt (London) and the Edinburgh International Festival. Her musical theatre credits include Scots (A Play, a Pie and a Pint), MYTH: The Rise and Fall of Orpheus (The Other Palace), Girls’ Night Oot!, Little Shop of Horrors, and the UK & Ireland tour of Wicked, where she also covered Madame Morrible
