Ann Louise has been working in theatre, film and television for the past 50 years, 25 of which have been with Dundee Rep Ensemble.
Productions with the Rep have included The Winter’s Tale which toured to Iran, Sweeney Todd, Gypsy, Scenes from an Execution, Sunshine on Leith, Peer Gynt, and many many more. Ann Louise won a CATS Award for Best Female Performance for her role in Further Than The Furthest Thing, also with Dundee Rep.
Ann Louise also appeared in a production of Peter Gynt at the National Theatre and Edinburgh International Festival. Last year she appeared in a production of Grand Old Opera House Hotel at the Traverse theatre for the Edinburgh fringe which toured to Dundee. This year she appeared in Cyprus Avenue, a Tron Theatre production which was at the Pavilion Theatre Glasgow. Her film and television credits include Trainspotting, The Acid House Trilogy, Whisky Galore, River City, playing Grannie Island in the CBeebies series Katie Morag and recently Good Omens 2 and Shetland. She has been in numerous radio drama productions and read many short stories.
