About A History of Paper

By Oliver Emanuel & Gareth Williams

It starts when she puts a note through his letterbox. 'Hello Number 4, this is Number 6. Please could you SHUT THE **** UP? Ta.' Not a promising beginning, but... they meet, they fall in love, they get married.

Then one day a letter arrives that will change them, and the world, forever…

A musical love story about a man and a woman and the little bits of paper that make up a life.

Part of Made in Scotland Showcase 2024.

Winner of Scotsman Fringe First 2024 and Musical Theatre Review's 'Best New Musical'. Runner Up for the Leading Light award for the best Scottish production at the Scottish Theatre Awards.
