After its stunning success in 2021, the show is back and better than ever for Christmas 2023. Bringing together a cast of 11 actor-musicians, we once again team up with celebrated musical theatre writers Noisemaker in a musical version of the ultimate Christmas story, directed by Dundee Rep's Artistic Director, Andrew Panton. An original take on the classic with all your favourite characters, from Tiny Tim to the Ghost of Christmas Past, this wonderfully witty and heart-warming re-telling of Dickens' tale of redemption is the perfect way to celebrate the festive season and immerse yourself in the magic of a Rep Christmas this year!

It is a time, of all others, when Want is keenly felt and Abundance rejoices.
This reflection on Christmas remains as true today as when Charles Dickens wrote it in A Christmas Carol in 1863. Yet today, the festive period still can be especially hard for those struggling in some areas of our city.
Your donation of £10 will cover the cost of a special access ticket to see A Christmas Carol. Tickets will be distributed through a network of local organisations working with disadvantaged families throughout our city. Donations of any size are much appreciated.
