KEEPING YOU SAFE DURING YOUR VISIT

 

We know that many of you will be looking forward to returning to Dundee Rep to be part of a full auditorium and we are delighted that the restrictions allow this to happen.  We are also aware that some of you will be looking forward to returning to the theatre but will be nervous about returning to a full auditorium.  We want to ensure that everyone feels welcome, safe, and comfortable when visiting Dundee Rep and Scottish Dance Theatre therefore, for our Christmas 2021 season, we will be doing a mixture of “Distanced” and Regular performances.   For our “Distanced” performances we have reduced the capacity of the auditorium and will ensure your party is not seated directly beside another group. 

For all performances, we want to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit; the auditorium will be cleaned and disinfected between every performance and we have a frequent cleaning regime ensuring all touchpoints and toilets are regularly disinfected.  We have hand sanitiser stations throughout the building and our team members will be available throughout the theatre to assist you if required. 

We know how important it is to allow flexibility at the moment which is why we are offering a “Book with Confidence” pledge.  If you are unable to attend an in-person event for any reason related to COVID-19, we will refund the full cost of the ticket to the lead booker.

HOW WILL MY TICKET WORK?
You will receive your ticket in advance of the performance via email. You can either print this off or have it on your phone. Please have your ticket ready for our team to scan on your arrival. Your email will also contain your recommended arrival time. For distanced performances, whilst the capacity in the auditorium has been reduced, and your party will not be seated directly beside another group, you may need to pass someone to take or leave our seats. To mitigate risk, face coverings are required for the duration of your visit, including in the auditorium.

WILL I NEED TO WEAR A FACE COVERING?
All staff and audience members, unless exempt, will be required to wear face coverings for the duration of your visit, including during the performance. 

WILL I NEED TO HAVE MY TEMPERATURE CHECKED?
We will be checking audience member temperatures on entry to the theatre using contactless thermometers.  If you, or anyone in your party, has a temperature over 37.8°C you will not be allowed to enter the venue and we will refund the full cost of your booking.  We recommend checking your temperature before making your journey to the venue.

DO I NEED VACCINE CERTIFICATION OR TO DO A LATERAL FLOW TEST AHEAD OF ARRIVAL?
Audiences are not required to provide proof of vaccination or proof of negative test for entry to the theatre.  In line with Scottish Government guidance we recommend that all audience members take a lateral flow test ahead of travelling to the theatre.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
We do not offer a cloakroom facility so please keep your belongings to a minimum and with you at all times.

WILL I BE ABLE TO BUY REFRESHMENTS?
Yes, Rep CafeBar will be open before the show, where you will be able to purchase refreshments.  Where possible, please pay with card, contactless or ApplePay.

HOW ELSE WILL I BE KEPT SAFE?
The auditorium is cleaned and disinfected between every performance and we have a frequent cleaning regime ensuring all touchpoints and toilets are regularly disinfected.  We have hand sanitiser stations throughout the building and our team members will be available throughout the theatre to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE COVID AND CANNOT USE MY TICKETS?
We know how important it is to allow for flexibility at the moment which is why we are offering a ‘Book with Confidence’ pledge. If you are unable to attend an in-person event for any reason related to COVID-19, we will refund the full cost of the ticket to the lead booker. Refunds should be requested at least 24 hours in advance of the performance.  If you or anyone in your household has had any recent COVID-19 symptoms, however fleeting, please stay home for everyone’s safety.
